Coir Products - PVC Tufted and Coir Mats
The 100% bio-degradable Coir Fibre is obtained from the fibrous portion surroundings the coconut seed. To extract the fibre the husk is first softened by retting in the lagoons of back waters for a few months. Then the woody portion, pith is removed either mechanically or manually by pounding and the resulting fibre is then combed and spun in to yarn using semi-automatic Ratts.
